In the course of the talks, the two discussed the current migration situation in Russia, interaction between the two agencies in reducing illegal migration and creation of the illegal migration prevention mechanisms, the representative office of Tajikistan’s Migration Service in Russia reports.

The sides also exchanged views on implementation of the Russian language programs and development of the system of medical examination of arriving migrant workers.

Romodanovsky, in particular, noted that the FMS would launch a pilot program on issuing work patents straight in Tajikistan soon.

The project will be implemented by both agencies and at the initial stage it would cover the Moscow oblast.

The sides are sure that this measure will allow reducing corruption in the legalization process.
