DUSHANBE, January 11, 2012, Asia-Plus  — By government’s decrees eight women have been appointed to executive positions in Tajikistan.

According to the presidential press service, Ms. Manzoura Mahkamova was appointed deputy chairperson of the State Committee for Investments and State-owned Property Management.

Ms. Jamila Saidova was appointed Deputy Minister of Agriculture, replacing Shukrullo Rahimnazarov, who was dismissed in connection with transfer to other job.

Ms. Marhabo Alimova was appointed Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Family and Women’s Affairs under the Government of Tajikistan.

Ms. Yelena Lashkarbekova was appointed Deputy Chairperson of Barqi Tojik Power Holding (the state-owned utility responsible for generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity in Tajikistan).

Ms. Karomat Saidova was appointed Deputy Director of the Agency for Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Trade Inspection, replacing Suhrob Valimadov, who was dismissed in connection with transfer to other job.

Ms. Tatiana Kholmurodova was appointed Deputy Chairperson of the Communications Service under the Government of Tajikistan, replacing Qadamjon Safiyev, who named head of the Informational and Technical center at President’s Executive Office.

Ms. Marhabo Sultonova was appointed Deputy Director General of the State Unitary Enterprise “Khojagii Manziliyu Kommunali” (the state holding company for public utilities), replacing Nozimsho Saroshoyev, who was dismissed in connection with transfer to other job.          

Ms. Barno Saidvaliyeva was appointed Deputy Chairperson of the National Center for Legislation under the President of Tajikistan.

Besides, by government’s decree Shuhratjon Rahmatboyev was appointed First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Investments and State-owned Property Management.

By president’s decree Samandar Boboyev was named acting chairman of Dushanbe’s Shohmansour district, replacing Fathullo Bouriyev who was retired for age reasons.

Subhiddin Bahriddinov was appointed First Deputy Director of the National Center for Legislation under the President of Tajikistan.
