DUSHANBE, February 24, 2012, Asia-Plus – On Wednesday February 22, Tajik Ambassador to Qatar Zubaydullo Zubaydov met in Doha with Dr. Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada, the Tajik MFA information department reports.

In the course of the talks, Qatari minister reportedly noted that his country was interested in establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation with Tajikistan in sectors like industry and energy.

Ambassador Zubaydov, for his part, informed Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada of industrial and energy resources and opportunities of Tajikistan.

The sides came to a conclusion that it is necessary to organize working visits of senior representatives of relevant ministries and agencies of Tajikistan and Qatar for the purpose of exchanging views and experiences for expansion of constructive cooperation.

On the same day, Tajik diplomat met with Brigadier Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of State for Internal Affairs of Qatar.

During the meeting, Ambassador Zubaydov noted that Tajikistan had a huge manpower that could be recruited to work in various spheres in Qatar.  In this connection, the sides discussed issues related to simplification of the visa-issuing procedure for citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan.

For his part, Brigadier Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani noted that the Ministry for Internal Affairs of Qatar and Tajikistan’s Interior Ministry could fruitfully cooperate in studying useful experience, preventing crime and training personnel, the source said.
