DUSHANBE, July 11, 2012, Asia-Plus  — The Interior Ministry press center reports chief officers of the traffic police and the special traffic police unit have been reprimanded following inspection of the results of their work over the first six months of this year.

The meeting to review the results of the work carried out by traffic police over the first six months took place in Dushanbe on July 6.

The following officials were reprimanded for failing to properly organize activities of their units: Colonel Mahmadali Rahimov, deputy chief of the special traffic police unit; Colonel Mirali Jalolov, deputy chief of the special traffic police unit; Saymuhammad Tumonov, chief of squad of the special traffic police unit; Lieutenant-Colonel Azizullo Karimov, battalion commander, the special traffic police unit; Alouddin Nasruddinov, company commander, the special traffic police unit of the company; Jourabek Kabirov, company commander, the special traffic police unit of the company; and Hasanali Qurbonov, company commander, the special traffic police unit of the company.

Disciplinary action was also imposed upon chiefs of traffic police departments of the cities of Dushanbe and Tursunzoda and Khatlon province.

The aforementioned people were warned that more strict measures would be taken against them if they fail to implement their duties in future.
