DUSHANBE, November 7, 2012, Asia-Plus — A tactical exercise for special police units was conducted recently on the outskirts of the southern city of Sarband in Khatlon province, the Interior Ministry’s press center reports.
The purpose of the exercise was to rehearse actions to prevent public disorder, fight terrorists, clear mines around and inside buildings as well as sniper skills.
The exercise reportedly involved armored vehicles.
