DUSHANBE, August 5, 2013, Asia-Plus — An August 3 meeting of the Dushanbe mayor’s office, in particular, considered the issue of reconstruction of a number of streets in the city, according to Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office.

Speaking at the Meeting, Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev reportedly drew attention of heads of contract organizations and companies to the quality of repairing works.

Today, repairs to 16 Dushanbe streets are under way, the spokesman noted.

Ubaidulloyev reportedly ordered the anticorruption agency’s office for Dushanbe to check the targeted use of funds allocated for reconstruction of roads.
