DUSHANBE, September 23, 2013, Asia-Plus — The U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe, with the support of the U.S. State Department Bureau on Educational and Cultural Affairs, welcomed HaviKoro, an American hip hop dance group and DJ Joe B from Houston, Texas to Tajikistan.
On September 21, the U.S. Embassy sponsored a free concert at the Vladimir Mayakovsky Russian Drama Theater in Dushanbe.
HaviKoro started out as a Houston-based hip hop/house crew and has gained experience in several forms of dance such as break dancing, popping and funk.
HaviKoro has toured all over the world including Helsinki, Moscow, Paris, Frankfurt, Hannover, Tokyo, Seoul, New Zealand, London, Zurich, Baku, and throughout the U.S.
