DUSHANBE, October 3, 2013, Asia-Plus – The revenue part of the draft national budget for 2014 is expected to rise 15.3 percent (1.8435 billion somoni) mostly due to grants (1.7435 billion somoni, 18.4 percent more compared to 2013), special funds of federally paid organizations (113.1 million somoni, 18.5 percent more) and the state investment projects (98.3 million somoni, 6.2 percent more).  

A total volume of the national budget for 2014 is expected to stand at 13.901 billion somoni (28.7 percent of GDP), including tax receipts (6.924 billion somoni, 20.3 percent more compared to this year) and customs duties (3.8 billion somoni, 18.8 percent more compared to 2013).

According to data of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT), an average exchange rate of the dollar against the national currency, the somoni, will be 1:4.84 in 2014.
