DUSHANBE, December 25, 2013, Asia-Plus – Russian developer of technical conditions for holding electronic trading (etrading), Tender Pro, reportedly plans to extend its operations to Tajikistan.

The company gave presentation of its activities at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan (CCI) in Dushanbe on December 24.

According to the CCI deputy chairperson Larisa Kislyakova, Tender Pro provides assistance in bringing buyers and sellers “through a global network of suppliers and buyers.”

“The company was established ten years ago to help entrepreneurs hold electronic trading,” head of Tender Pro’s office in Kazakhstan, Timofei Kim.

According to him, the company has the largest database in Russia.  Its database reportedly contains names of more than 650,000 goods of 50,000 companies from 40 countries of the world.

Kim stressed that their company was member of the Single Eurasian Electronic Platform.

Electronic trading, sometimes called etrading, is a method of trading securities (such as stocks, and bonds), foreign exchange or financial derivatives electronically.  Information technology is used to bring together buyers and sellers through an electronic trading platform and network to create virtual market places such as NASDAQ, NYSE Arca and Globex, which are also known as electronic communication networks (ECNs).

Established in 2003, Tender Pro is inter-corporate intersectoral electronic trading platform for the business to business (b2b) sector.  The electronic purchase system allows conducting contests of all types: auctions, open and closed tenders, etc.
