DUSHANBE, June 25, 2015, Asia-Plus – Tajik President Emomali Rahmon attended Tajik-Malaysian business forum that took place in Kuala Lumpur yesterday, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
Malaysian media sources report that the forum was attended by 150 Malaysian businessmen and 70 Tajik government officials.
Inaugurating the forum, Minister of International Trade and Industry, Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed, reportedly noted that Tajikistan offers enormous potentials for Malaysian businessmen as it is endowed with an abundance of natural resources.
Tajik president’s official website notes that speaking at the forum, President Emomali Rahmon noted that Tajik government bodies alone had worked out more than 400 investment projects. Besides, many projects were worked out by private companies, Tajik leader noted.
