DUSHANBE, February 5, 2015, Asia-Plus – A forum on development of the regional network of the public-private dialogue (PPD) will take place in Dushanbe from February 9-11.

The event is reportedly organized by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIS) Country Office in Tajikistan jointly with the Framework and Finance for Private Sector Development Program (FFPSD) in the close cooperation with the State Committee on Investment and State-owned Property of Tajikistan and the Secretariat of the Consultative for Improvement of Investment Climate under President of Tajikistan in partnership with the World Bank Leadership, Learning and Innovation Program.

The forum is expected to bring together representatives of the PPD platforms from Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, Slovakia, Croatia and Romania to exchange experiences and discuss issues related to the PPD management and technical assistance.

The forum participants will also get acquainted with successful examples of Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, Slovakia, Croatia and Romania.

The forum will promote formation of the regional network of PPD platforms supporting participative decision-making and strengthening of the managing and institutional potential with emphasis on improvement of the strategy on investment climate and public-private partnership (PPP).

On the sidelines of the forum, its participants will hold meetings with representatives of the PPD structures and initiative business groups in Dushanbe, the source said.
