DUSHANBE, February 16, 2015, Asia-Plus — Tajik Minister of Agriculture Qosim Rahbar at the end of the last week met here with Mr. Chen Dao Chuan, Director of Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) Chuntai Dangara Sin Sil Textile (phonetically spelled).

According to the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) press center, the two discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture, including cultivation and processing of cotton.

Mr. Chen reportedly expressed gratitude to the Government of Tajikistan for allotment of 15,000 hectares in the Danghara district for cotton cultivation.

A cotton-processing factory is expected to be constructed in the Danghara district.

Tajik minister proposed to establish the Chinese Corner at the future cotton-processing factory in Danghara so that Tajik farmers could get acquainted with activities and achievements of Chinese farmers.

He reportedly also proposed to set up training and dealer centers to display high quality farm produce for sale.
