DUSHANBE, February 16, 2015, Asia-Plus – A Tajik-Kuwaiti seminar to discuss issues related to development of international tourism began at Dushanbe Sheraton Hotel today.

Organized with support from the Committee for Youth, Sports and Youth Affairs under the Government of Tajikistan, a three-day seminar has reportedly brought together experts and representatives of tourism industry of Tajikistan and Kuwait to discuss opportunities and new directions of cooperation in the field of tourism.

According to the Tajik MFA information department, the event aims to help Tajik tour operators establish new business contacts with partners from Kuwait and other countries of the Persian Gulf to implement joint tourism development projects.

Experts and representatives of tour companies from Kuwait will get acquainted with opportunities of recreation centers and spas as well restaurant and entertainment business facilities in Tajikistan, the source said.
