DUSHANBE, June 19, 2015, Asia-Plus – Heads of two national TV channels have been replaced, a source in the Tajik government told Asia-plus today.

Mr. Lutfullo Davlatov was relieved of his post of director of the TV Channel

Safina

in connection with transfer to other job.  He was reportedly appointed to head the Tajik State Academic Drama Theater named after Abulqosim Lohouti.          

Ms. Zevar Davlatova was also relieved of her post of director of Children’s TV Channel

Bahoriston

in connection with transfer to other job.  She was appointed director of the Channel

Safina

, replacing Lutfullo Davlatov.

Ms. Dilafrouz Amirqulova, formerly deputy director of the Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting, was appointed to head the Children’s TV Channel Bahoriston. 

Besides, Mr. Zorobididn Sirojov, formerly adviser for the president’s press center, was appointed director of the national news agency

Khovar

, replacing Mr. Shamsiddin Sadriddinov.

Mr. Shamsiddin Sadriddinov was appointed deputy director of the Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting under the Government of Tajikistan.

Mr. Abdusamad Hikmatzoda, who had previously served as deputy director of the Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting, was appointed deputy director of the TV Channel
