8,267 tons of humanitarian aid delivered to Tajikistan in Jan-May 2015

DUSHANBE, June 22, 2015, Asia-Plus – Twenty-eight countries of the world have provided 19.5355 million U.S. dollars worth of 8,267 tons of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan over the first five months of this year, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

Over the same  five-month period, among the donor countries the greatest share in value reportedly came from Germany – 28.9 percent; the Netherlands – 11.7 percent; China – 15.3 percent; the United Arab Emirates (UAE) – 8.3 percent; Denmark – 5.8 percent; Austria – 4.6 percent; India – 4.1 percent; Iran – 3.2 percent; Kuwait – 2.9 percent; Latvia – 2.3 percent; Greece – 1.5 percent; and others.
