DUSHANBE, July 6, 2015, Asia-Plus – Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has introduced a number of staff changes.

Mr. Sharif Qurbonzoda was appointed to head the Prosecutor-General’s Office Department for Overseeing Police and the Drug Control Agency.

Mr. Mahmoudali Alimardonzoda was appointed Deputy Military Prosecutor of Tajikistan.

Mr. Mohammad Sayfullozoda was appointed First Deputy Prosecutor of Sughd Province.

Mr. Arabzho Solizoda was appointed Prosecutor of Khujand City (Sughd Province).

Mr. Anvar Rahmonzoda was appointed Prosecutor of Isfara City (Sughd Province).

Mr. Mohammad Khouja Arabzoda was appointed Prosecutor of Ayni District (Sughd Province).

Mr. Sayfiddin Sirojzoda was appointed Prosecutor of Temourmalik District (Khatlon Province).

Mr. Umedjon Abdusattorzoda was appointed Prosecutor of Norak City (Khatlon Province).

Mr. Mahmadamin Hisoriyev was appointed to head the Transportation Prosecutor’s Office in Khatlon Province.

Mr. Abdurashid Yusufzoda was appointed Military Prosecutor of the Qurghon Teppa Garrison.

Mr. Idibek Sobirzoda was appointed Military Prosecutor of the Rasht Garrison.                 

Mr. Nazri Shamsmuhammad and Ms. Zulfiya Odinayeva were relieved of their posts of deputy transport ministers.

Ms. Zulfiya Yorova was appointed Deputy Minister of Transport.

Mr. Farrukhjon Fakhruddinov was appointed to head the State Agency for Transport Supervision and Regulation.

Mr. Samariddin Ayniddin, formerly Director of the National TV Channel

Mr. Suhrob Raufov was appointed Director of the National TV Channel

According to the Tajik president’s official website, President Emomali Rahmon met with newly appointed officials on July 6.  Addressing them with words of encouragement, the president reportedly called on them to toughen fight against corruption, extremism and juvenile crime.  He also called on the newly appointed officials to take measures to expand cooperation between the government bodies and public association in order to prevent youth radicalization.
