Dushanbe. 31 August. “Asia Plus” —  Some definitions of the Tax Code of Tajikistan are still in need of improvement and editorship, thinks the Head of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of Tajikistan Kodiri Qosim.

Speaking at the meeting of the working group to clarify the definitions of tax and customs codes and other legal acts of the Republic of Tajikistan, K. Kosim noted that under the new Tax Code provides over 240 preferences and f facilitations for the representatives of small and medium-sized businesses.

He stressed that in the new Tax Code the number of taxes accounts has been reduced to 86 items, and the total number of tax payments – up to 43%.

K. Kosim recalled that in a new edition of the Tax Code the number of taxes was reduced from 21 items to 10. He reported that since 1st of January 2017 the amount of taxes will reduced to 9 titles.

“Despite this, – admitted the Head of State Committee – some definitions of the Tax Code are still required in a new edition and improvement”.

He stressed that under the Ministry of Finance of Tajikistan operates a permanent working group for the study, analysis and improvement of the Tax Code, and added that entrepreneurs may officially apply to this working group with particular proposals for improving the definitions of the Code.
