DUSHANBE, March 14, 2016, Asia-Plus – One more bank has been established in Tajikistan bringing a total number of banks operating in the country to 18.
According to the press center of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT), Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) “The International Bank of Tajikistan” has been established on the basis of CJSC “Standards and Finances” Micro Deposit Organization. The founders of the bank are reportedly citizens of Tajikistan.
The International Bank of Tajikistan will provide access to banking and modern high-quality financial services, promoting improvement of the financial situation in country, the NBT press center said.
