DUSHANBE, June 13, 2016, Asia-Plus — Known Tajik mineral water resort, Closed Joint Stock Company (CJSC) Shohambari, has come under the hummer.
According to the State Committee on Investment and State-owned Property Management (GosKomInvest), the tender for selling CJSC Shohambari has been held in two stages and Rukhafzo 2015 Company has won the tender.
The price, for which the mineral water resort has been sold, is not disclosed. Meanwhile, the initial price for CJSC Shohambari was only 3.1 million somoni (equivalent to some 395,000 U.S. dollars).
The mineral water resort is located 25 kilometers northwest of Dushanbe in the Hisor district. A total area of the resort, which is located at a height of 1,150 meters above sea level, is more than 17 hectares.
The new owner of CJSC Shohambari has to repay Shohambari’s debts amounting to 530,000 somoni and invest no less than 10 million somoni in development of the mineral water resort within the next three years.
The new owner will also have to increase the number of employees working with the mineral water resort from 60 to no less than 200 people.
