DUSHANBE, July 14, 2016, Asia-Plus – The government commission on the budget discussed preliminary fiscal year 2017 budget parameters at a July 13 meeting, presided over by Prime Minister Qohir Rasoulzoda.

According to the Prime Minister Secretariat, the commission, in particular, discussed a number of issues related to the draft macroeconomic indicators, the draft revenue part of the national budget, and the draft maximum limit of its expenditure part in terms of sectors for 2017-2019.

Heads of economic bloc ministries and agencies reported on the current economic situation in the country, fulfillment of the revenue part of the national budget, main sources of tax collection, real opportunities for solvency of taxpayers, and perspective plan of tax payments for 2017-2019. 

The commission reportedly endorsed the draft macroeconomic indicators, the draft revenue part of the national budget, and the draft maximum limit of its expenditure part in terms of sectors for 2017-2019.
