More than one billion somoni over the 25 years of the state independence of Tajikistan were aimed at the development of the education sector of the capital and the creation of favorable conditions of education and upbringing of children, said the President of Tajikistan, speaking on Tuesday, August 30, at the ceremony of opening a new secondary school in Dushanbe.

He noted that more than three billion somoni from the State Budget were allocated this year on the education of the country, which is 231 million somoni or 10 percent more compared to the previous year. "Accordingly, – said E. Rahmon, – from year to year the funding of the education sector of Dushanbe city will increase ".

He noted the need for a more responsible attitude to the education of the "educated, enlightened and devoted to the Homeland generation."

"It's not an accident that we proclaimed the strengthening of education and training on this basis the creative generation of one of the priorities of state social policy and we will continue to consider this goal as a major factor of strengthening the state, saving the nation", – concluded the President of Tajikistan.
