In several regions of Russia, due to the celebration of the Muslim holiday of Kurban Bayram (Idi Qurbon), the first call in schools was postponed to September 4. In Tajikistan, no final decision has yet been taken on this issue.

In Bashkiria and Tatarstan, the academic year will not begin on September 1, but a few days later, on September 4. This decision was made in connection with the fact that the Muslims of Tatarstan and Bashkiria celebrate one of the main Muslim holidays on September 1 – Kurban Bayram. And to residents of Ufa, the authorities proposed to decide themselves, by opening a poll in social networks. Most residents of the capital of Bashkortostan voted to postpone the beginning of the academic year on September 4.

Also, the solemn line was moved to several schools in Moscow, located next to the cathedral mosque, moved because of the celebration of Kurban Bayram.

Idi Qurbon in Tajikistan, as in many Muslim countries, will be celebrated on September 1. But the Ministry of Education and Science of the republic has not yet determined the transfer of the first call in schools.

"The decision on this will be taken within three days," explained in the ministry.

It is worth recalling that, according to the legislation, both major Muslim holidays in Tajikistan are declared as a day off. Although in Idi Ramazon, some employees of state bodies and educational institutions were forced to go to work because of the unspoken directive.
