Turkey’s Embassy provides aid to vulnerable families in Tajik capital

On September 2, the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan distributed aid to vulnerable families in Dushanbe, according to Khovar news agency.

The assistance was provided by Turkey’s Embassy in Dushanbe on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.  4,605 kilograms of meat were reportedly distributed to 1,500 residents in four districts of Dushanbe. 

More than 30 boarding schools in Khatlon province, Dushanbe and centers subordinate to the center have also received humanitarian aid.  

On August 28, Tajikistan’s Red Crescent Society in cooperation with the Red Crescent Society of Qatar 28 provided 200 people with limited opportunities with wheat flour, sugar, vegetable oil and rice.
