President Emomali Rahmon yesterday bid farewell to his late brother Nouriddin Rahmon, who died of heart failure on October 7 aged 67. 

Emomali Rahmon carried the coffin at the funeral of his brother.  Farwell ceremony for Nourididn Rahmon reportedly took place in Danghara City Park. 

Practically all members of the government and heads of local authorities attended the funeral ceremony.

Nouriddin Rahmon was buried at Hazarti Mavlono Tojiddin Cemetery in Danghara.  

Journalists were not permitted to attend the funeral ceremony.
