Fifty-eight countries of the world provided 73.644 million U.S. dollars’ worth of 24,353.5 tons of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan last year, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

In January-December 2017, among the donor countries the greatest share in value reportedly came from China – 32.2 percent; Russia – 18.6 percent; Serbia – 11.7 percent; India – 6.9 percent; Turkey – 3.6 percent; Switzerland – 3.3 percent; Kazakhstan – 2.8 percent; Germany – 2.7 percent; the United States – 2.3 percent; the Netherlands and Belgium – 1.8 percent each; the Republic of Korea – 1.7 percent; Sweden – 1.2 percent; Denmark, Austria and Italy – 1.0 percent each; Greece and Latvia – 0.8 percent each; and others.

Recall, fifty-five countries of the world provided 55.8 million U.S. dollars’ worth of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan in 2016.
