A gas cylinder blast left at least four persons wounded in Dushanbe’s Firdavsi district, according to the Dushanbe fire department press center.

The incident took place yesterday afternoon at 1:25 pm.  A gas cylinder reportedly went off near the Henkook auto-parts store in neighborhood 61 resulting in the injuries of four persons. 

The injured were shifted to Istiqlol Hospital shortly after the blast. 

The injured were identified as Khouja Bedilov, Ahliddin Sharipov, Sabzali Shoyev and Parviz Yorakov.  Their health conditions are reportedly assessed as stable.

The law enforcement authorities has launched investigation into the blast.  According to the preliminary data, the blast was caused by gas leak.
