The state symphonic orchestra of the Republic of Tajikistan has given its first concert.

The event that took place at the Opera and Ballet Theater in Dushanbe on March 15 was attended by President Emomali Rahmon, senior representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations active in Tajikistan and known Tajik cultural figures.

The orchestra performed works by world famous composers and Tajik composers. 

The state symphonic orchestra of Tajikistan was established in August 2016 on the direct initiative of President Emomali Rahmon and it now consists of more than 100 musicians.
