Renowned Tajik actress Musharrafa Qosimova died in Dushanbe overnight, aged 100 after a short illness.  Her motto was “There Need to Love Life.” 

The Honored Artist of Tajikistan Musharrafa Qosimova will be buried today at Dushanbe’s Sariosiyo Cemetery.  

Musharrafa Qosimova had played in many performances at the Lohuti Theater and had acted in dozens of movies.   

She is rightly called the mother of Tajik theater.  She had begun playing on stage when she had still been a little girl and had stopped acting in movies just several years ago.
