Tajik athletes have won two silver medals at the Asia-Pacific Judo Championships 2019 that took place in Fujairah City, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from April 19 to April 22. 

Tajik judoka Komronsho Ustopiriyon has reportedly won silver in wright division of -90kg.  He defeated Davlat Bobonov (Uzbekistan), Hebilag Bu (China) and Islam Bozbayev (Kazakhstan).  In final, Ustopiriyon was defeated by Japanese judoka Kosuke Mashiyama.  

Temour Rahimov has won silver in the weight division of +100kg.  He reportedly defeated Rakan Zaydan (Saudi Arabia), Durenbayar Ulzibayar (Mongolia) and Yuri Krakovetsky (Kyrgyzstan).  In final, Rahimov was defeated by Korean athlete Sung Nim Kim.  

In all, about 300 judokas from 78 countries of Asia, Australia and Oceania have participated in the tournament, according to Tajikistan Judo Federation.
