Competition for the best metropolitan park announced in Dushanbe. The competition commission was headed by the vice-mayor of the city Tolib Rakhimzoda.

The results of the contest, which is dedicated to the 28th anniversary of independence of Tajikistan, will be announced no later than September 5.

The competitive commission for evaluation will check all the necessary attributes of a modern park of culture and rest: are there benches, attractions, is there enough greenery, is there enough lighting, as well as water lines and toilets, said the head of the gardening department of the Dushanbe City Hall Sherali Rahmonzoda.

Also, the commission will look closely at the behavior of visitors to the park, their attitude to property in the parks.

The winner of the competition will be awarded with a special diploma from the Dushanbe City Hall.
