Tajik capital to host international festival of dance and songs soon

An international festival of dance and songs will take place in Dushanbe on September 20, according to the Tajik MFA information department.

Initiated by the Tajik Foreign Ministry, the event will be held at the State Philharmonic Society named after Akasharif Jourayev in Dushanbe.

Creative groups of Tajikistan, foreign artistes and representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Dushanbe are invited to participate in the festival.  

The main objective of the festival is acquainting people with culture and civilization of other countries, strengthening friendly relations among diplomatic missions active in the country and developing relationships.
