This restricted tender will be open only to Big Four accounting firms, according to the NBT press center.

The deadline for submitting applications and documents for participation in the tender is November 1, 2019.

If the application is acceptable, the National Bank of Tajikistan may conclude a long-term contract for a period of five year.

In 2018, an audit at the National Bank of Tajikistan was conducted by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (Deloitte).

And before that, annual audits at the Tajik central bank had been conducted by British Ernst & Young Ford Rhodes Sidat Hyder.

The Big Four (KPMG, Ernst & Young (EY), Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)) are the four biggest professional services networks in the world, offering audit, assurance services, taxation, management consulting, advisory, actuarial, corporate finance and legal services.  They handle the vast majority of audits for public companies as well as many private companies.
