The Caravan of Health (a mobile medical complex) is currently in the southern Khatlon province.  The annual preventive medical examination campaign, dubbed Caravan of Health, started in the province on October 8 and will run through November 1.

According to the Khatlon health care directorate, 17 physicians of various medical specialties have participated in the action and each of them has examined up to 100 patients per day.

“To-date, they have already visited Temourmalik, Vose, Farkhor, Qubodiyon, Panj, Shahritous and Hamadoni districts and today they are receiving patients in Jomi district, an official source within the Khatlon health care directorate told Asia-Plus today morning.  

The main objective of this health project is to prove high-quality medical service to residents of remote areas, help identify diseases and prescribe treatment in a timely manner.
