Tajik prime minister, Uzbek president discussed cooperation

On Friday November 1, Tajik Prime Minister Qohir Rasoulzoda met in Tashkent with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

According to the Uzbek president’s press service, the two sides discussed state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in various fields. 

Rasoulzoda and Mirziyoyev reportedly underlined the importance of implementation of agreements on political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation reached between the two countries at the highest level.  

A special attention was given expansion of cooperation between border regions of the two countries.
