Tajikistan’s Spitamen Bank and Russia’s Alfa have launched a joint project on replenishment of bank cards of the national payment system Korti Milli and bank cards of international systems UnionPay and VISA issued by Spitamen Bank through the Alfa Bank app, according to the Spitamen Bank press center. 

In response to growing needs of customers in remitting money from Russia to their relatives in Tajikistan, Spitamen Bank has been actively introducing new high tech money transfer services and establishing cooperation with Russian leading banks. 

Alfa Bank has become the next partner of Spitamen Bank on the implementation of project aimed at replenishing bank cards.  

Holders of bank cards of the national payment system Korti Milli of any bank of Tajikistan and bank cards of international systems UnionPay and VISA issued by Spitamen Bank now can receive remittances through the Alfa Bank app.  

Spitamen Bank has become leader in realizing of cards and in increasing the volume of external transactions.

Spitamen Bank, with headquarters in Dushanbe, now has sixteen branches across the country, including five located in Dushanbe.

Spitamen Bank started its Microcredit Deposit Organization in the country as Spitamen Capital in 2008 leading to a banking license from the National Bank of Tajikistan by 2014.  The company holds the license for banking operations in both local and foreign currency.

In 2013, the Closed Joint Stock Microcredit Deposit Organization 'Spitamen Capital' was named the winner of the BID International Arch of Europe Award; an award presented to organizations focusing on a high standard of quality.

Currently, Spitamen Bank is considered one of the most active and technology-driven banks in the country.

The Joint-Stock Company (JSC) Alfa Bank, the corporate treasury of the Alfa Group, is one of the largest private commercial banks in Russia.  It was founded by Russian businessman Mikhail Fridman, who is still the controlling owner today.

Headquartered in Moscow, Alfa Bank operates in seven countries, providing financial services to over 381,600 active corporate customers and 14.2 million retail clients.
