On Friday December 27, President Emomali Rahmon visited that national boarding school for deaf children in the Roudaki district, according to the Tajik president’s official website. 

The national boarding school for deaf children is reportedly a home for 400 children from various regions of the country.

All necessary living and studying conditions have been created for them, the Tajik president’s official website said. 

The head of state reportedly congratulated the pupils on the upcoming New Year and gave them holiday presents.  

The president donated two new bases to the national boarding school for deaf children, the president’s press service noted.
