The speaker of the lower house of the parliament of Tajikistan, Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda, was discharged from the capital's infectious diseases hospital 10 days after hospitalization.

This was reported by the press center of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic.

Zokirzoda was hospitalized on May 5 with a diagnosis of pneumonia, and on the eve of May 15, was discharged from the hospital.

The speaker praised the work of the hospital’s medical staff and expressed appreciation to its head physician Khurshed Khabibzoda.
