Tajik deputy foreign minister bids farewell to outgoing Italian ambassador

On Monday July 6, outgoing Italian Ambassador to Tajikistan (with residence in Tashkent, Uzbekistan), Mr. Andre Bertozzi, held a virtual meeting with Tajik Deputy Foreign Minister, Muzaffar Huseinzoda, at the end of his tenure to the Republic of Tajikistan, according to the Tajik MFA information department.

In the course of the online talks, the two discussed expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Italy after stabilization of the situation with the global coronavirus situation.

Huseinzoda and Bertozzi emphasized the importance of holding the planned bilateral event, including contacts at high and highest levels, after stabilization of the global pandemic situation, the Tajik MFA information department said      

Huseinzoda reportedly expressed gratitude to Ambassador Bertozzi for his contribution to enhancement of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Italy.
