According to COVID-19 data provided by Worldmeter, the coronavirus COVID-19 is affecting 213 countries and territories around the world and 2 international conveyances.  The list of countries and territories and their continental regional classification is based on the United Nations Geoscheme. 

Tajikistan ranks 93rd on this list in terms of the number of officially confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). 

Other Central Asian nations are placed on this list as follows: Kazakhstan with the highest number of officially confirmed cases of COVID-19 ranks 26th while Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan rank 53rd and 58th respectively. 

The United States, Brazil and India are in the top three.  

According to Wolrdmeter’s data, coronavirus cases around the globe have been reported at 22,306,538 as of the night of August 18, 2020, of which 15,047,779 have recovered and 784,353 have died.
