Today, September 14, in Dushanbe, a two-day scientific and practical conference began on the topic: "The contribution of the Leaders of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan to strengthening friendship, good-neighborliness and trust, opening a new page of the Tajik-Uzbek strategic partnership".

The event, organized by the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan and the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, which takes place at the National Library of the country, is attended by a representative delegation from Tashkent consisting of prominent scientists, researchers and leading experts of the country, headed by the First Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Academician Akmal Saidov.

Uzbek scientists and experts (21 people) arrived in Dushanbe on a special charter flight from Tashkent.

In addition to plenary sessions, sectional meetings are also envisaged, during which experts and specialists of the two countries will discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation.
