In the coming days, a representative delegation of the Uzbek parliament will arrive in Tajikistan.

To hold the first joint meeting of the parliamentary groups of friendship and cooperation of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, a representative delegation of the parliament of the neighboring state will arrive in Dushanbe in the coming days, a source in the parliament of Tajikistan said.

Such a joint meeting will be held for the first time in the history of the two states.

The Uzbek delegation, which will include representatives of both chambers of the parliament of this country, will be headed by Ulugbek Inoyatov, member of the Committee on Science, Education, Culture and Sports of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.

The Tajik group of friendship and cooperation with the parliament of Uzbekistan is headed by the vice-speaker of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic Dilrabo Mansuri.

The Uzbek delegation will visit the industrial enterprises of Tajikistan, get acquainted with the historical and cultural sights of the country.
