Dushanbe "Istiklol" three rounds before the end of the major league of the 2020 season officially became the champion of Tajikistan in football. This is the ninth champion title in Istiqlol's club history.

Previously, the Dushanbe club won gold medals in the national championship in 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, the press service of the Football Federation of the Republic reports.
