Tajikistan is taking part in it for the first time.

From 2 to 4 October, a virtual NASA International Space Apps Challenge will be held, in which Tajikistan will take part for the first time.

This year's organizers are NASA, the global Space Apps group and Makerspace Dushanbe.

The Space App is an international hackathon that takes place over 48 hours in cities around the world. Developers, scientists, designers, manufacturers, builders, technologists and everyone passionate about innovation come together to solve the challenges we face on Earth and in space!

During the COVID-19 pandemic and in the interests of the health and safety of the global community, the hackathon will take place online.

How can you get involved?
