A honey fair, a festival – an exhibition of grapes and other fruits will be held at the Mehrgon market on October 3, reports the Ministry of Agriculture of the country.
The event is organized with the aim of presenting the achievements of Tajik farmers and reviving the tradition of growing grapes.
According to the Department of Crop Production of the Ministry in the country as of September 30 of this year, more than 179 thousand tons of fruits were harvested. Of these, almost 46 thousand tons are grapes. During this period, 1886.3 tons (100.1%) of honey were produced.
