During his visit to Moscow, Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali, who is also head of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper house of parliament), yesterday held talks with Mrs. Valentina Matviyenko, Chairperson of the Federation Council (Russia’s upper chamber of parliament).

According to the Federation Council’s official website, the two discussed state and prospects of bilateral cooperation and inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
