A world-class virology laboratory is expected to be established in Tajikistan next year.

The laboratory will be established at the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.

National news agency Khovar, citing the president of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan Farhod Rahimi, says a relevant agreement on this subject has been signed with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

According to Rahimi, after reopening of roads specialists for this lab will be trained in Beijing and Minsk.

Rahimi believes that it is impossible to get on with the production of coronavirus drugs without such laboratories.
