Pamir Energy (PE) is part of AKDN and operates through a Public-Private Partnership with the Government of Tajikistan (GoT), in effect at least until 2027. Since its inception in 2002, PE has been providing energy services in Viloyati Mukhtori Kuhistoni Badakhshon (VMKB), Tajikistan and started in 2008 to extend services to districts of the Badakhshan province in Northern Afghanistan. PE has improved the generation, transmission, and distribution capacity of old soviet grids, rehabilitated 1/3 of its network, including 2 medium-sized hydropower plant (in total 44MW) directly benefitting underserved areas of both Afghanistan and Tajikistan.

The German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO) has set aside fund through the German Development Bank (KfW), the Pakistan-Afghanistan-Tajikistan Regional Integration Program (PATRIP) and the Aga Khan Foundation of the United Kingdom (AKF, UK) for the Shugnan VI (Phase II) Cross-border energy project, where Pamir Energy is implementing partner of the Project.

Consequently, within the project, in order to improve the access to energy services in VMKB Tajikistan and in Northern Afghanistan, Pamir Energy Company announces a tender for;

“Supply of two specialized lifting vehicles: Forklift and Manipulator”.                        

1.         Pamir Energy Company has received a grant from the German Federal Foreign Office through the Aga Khan Foundation (United Kingdom) (AKF (UK)) under PATRIP.

2.         Pamir Energy Company now invites sealed bids from qualified bidders for the Supply of two specialized lifting vehicles: Forklift and Manipulator. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures in accordance with the procurement policies of the PATRIP Foundation, Pamir Energy, and is open to all bidders.

3.         Interested bidders may obtain further information from Pamir Energy Company, Regional Projects Implementation Department, and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below and Pamir Energy can also provide the documents electronically. Bidding documents can be obtained from Pamir Energy Company in English language by interested bidders upon submission of request to the below mention email address.

4.         Sealed bids must be delivered to the addresses below no later than May 5th, 2021 14.00 hours Dushanbe time. Electronic bids can be submitted by the International bidder following the instructions on the tender documents. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 16.00 hours Dushanbe time on the date of submission.
