Rahmon inaugurates flagpole, new secondary school and health center in Bobojon-Ghafourov district

President Emomali Rahmon, who is currently on his working visit to the northern Sughd province, yesterday visited the Bobojon-Ghafourov district, were he inaugurated a number of social facilities, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

The head of state, in particular, attended an official opening ceremony of a new secondary school in the Haidar Usmonov jamoat.

The school, which was constructed by local entrepreneurs, will accommodate 960 pupils in two shifts.  

The president also inaugurated a new building of the Treatment-and-Diagnostics Center “Tibbi Sino”, a three-story mall and a restaurant of national cuisine “Faizullo”.  

At the restaurant, the head of state reportedly held a meeting with orphans of the Sughd province and handed them clothes, books and candy.  

While vising Unji village, Emomali Rahmon inaugurate the National Flag Square there.  A 50-meter flagpole hoists the Tajik flag measuring 14 meters by 7 meters.
