Two more coronavirus-linked deaths were officially confirmed in Tajikistan yesterday, July 5, bringing a total number of officially confirmed coronavirus-linked deaths in the since June 21 to 5. 

Recall, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population (MoHSPP) said yesterday that two coronavirus-linked deaths were officially confirmed on July 2 and one more coronavirus-linked death was officially confirmed on July 4.

Thus, a total number of the officially confirmed coronavirus-linked deaths in Tajikistan has reached 95 since April 30, 2020, when the infection index cases were officially confirmed in Dushanbe and Khujand.

Twenty-six new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have been officially confirmed in Tajikistan as of evening of July 5, bringing a total number of COVID-19 cases officially reported in the country since June 21 to 204.

A total number of the officially confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection in Tajikistan has reached 13,623 since April 30, 2020, when its index cases were confirmed in the country. 

According to data from the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population (MoHSPP), seventeen COVID-19 patients have recovered in the country over the past three days.

Thus, the number of those who have been cured in Tajikistan since April 30, 2020 reached 13,382 (99 percent).

Meanwhile, according to unofficial data, the number of affected persons and deaths is in the thousands.
