An official ceremony of rehabilitation of the road connecting Buston settlement, the administrative center of Mastchoh district, and the settlement of Zarnisor took place on August 28 under financial support of the Tajik-Sino Mining Company.

The ceremony was attended by Sughd Governor Rajabboy Ahmadzoda, Guliston Mayor Bakhtiyor Saidahmadzoda and Tajik-Sino Mining Company Director General Li Yao Huwei, representatives of the public and road builders.  

The project is expected to be completed by September next year.

Tajik-Sino Mining Company with an authorized capital of 30 million U.S. dollars was established in 2006 following privatization of the Altyn-Topkan Mining Company by Chinese global company on export-import of new technologies.

The company is located in the settlement of Zarnisor, which is administratively subordinate to the city of Guliston (formerly Qairoqqum), Sughd province.

The company was granted licenses for development of the lead and zinc deposits Altyn-Topkan and Pay-Buloq.  In 2011, Tajik-Sino Mining Company was granted license for development of the Northern Zarnisor deposit in Mastchoh district.  The deposit contains zinc and lead.
